The Best Deodorant For Women Who Sweat A Lot
Tamara Laschinsky began writing articles in 2008 to supplement her knowledge of alternative health and wellness practices. If you are in a warmer climate, you can keep your deodorant in the fridge and remove a few minutes before applying. It keeps it`s shape in the container but when I put it on it`s very creamy (not like regular stick) Is there something that I can add, or take away, to make it a little harder! So I let it melt outside the fridge and poured it into a jar, and stick my finger in and get a pea sized amount and smear it on my armpits. Thank you for all of your really great ideas, we are actually tackling our oven this weekend using your description and the baking soda method….wish us luck!!
I`ve also tried Tom`s, and while it smelled delicious, I had similar issues with it as I did with coconut oil-just not effective enough. Many of these can be made into solids with the addition of beeswax, as well, melted into the coconut oil or shea butter, whatever you use. I had this post at Passionate Homemaking bookmarked since December, but I didn`t have bulk coconut oil until I figured out how to use it in my kitchen. Unfortunately, it is literally pointless to use probiotics since the coconut oil will completely neutralize all the bacteria, good and bad in the probiotics.
While other solutions, such as a whitening and peeling set , can provide a more complete solution; using a whitening deodorant is a convenient and easy way to whiten underarms every day. Other good oils for your homemade deodorant include: tea tree, lavender , oregano , geranium, and lemon If you have sensitive skin, try adding something soothing, like chamomile. Add in some fragrant and potent essential oils (I used antiseptic lavender and rosemary) and you`ve got yourself the perfect homemade deodorant your pits will love.
I like making and using homemade deodorant spray deodorant but I find it just doesn`t agree with me. The baking soda causes itching, a painful rash, and discoloration but leaving it out makes my deodorant as ineffective as store bought natural" ones that just mix their scent with your b.. and make you smell even worse than using no deodorant at all!
I don`t know of a 1 for 1 substitute for the butter, you could try increasing the beeswax and coconut oils to make up for the shea but I don`t know what the consistency of the final product will be. I would experiment with small amounts to see the results before you waste a ton of ingredients.
I think it`s that my body is happy with the lack of chemicals so it isn`t working so hard to get it the heck out 🂠My husband is a baseball player and very sweaty under the pits and hasn`t gone so far as to entrust his pits to me (isn`t that what marriage is about?!), but he did take my advice and stop using his ultra-extra-hulk-strength deodorant for a few days in place of something simple like baby powder.
Stir in butter a tablespoon at a time; stir in the beaten eggs, working quickly so eggs will not cook before thoroughly blended into the grits, then stir in the shredded cheese, garlic and a little cayenne pepper. Some gel formulas can become sticky and messy when they get wet, making the dry formula of a stick more appealing. I saw a body powder recipe by Angi Schneider of Schneiderpeeps, and the image of my mother`s deodorant powder cake with its pink powder puff flashed into my mind. If you live in a particularly warm climate, add a little melted candelilla wax or beeswax to the mixture.
